Edmonton Oilers<\/a> general manager Stan Bowman said Thursday<\/a> that he didn\u2019t expect to make many other moves ahead of Friday\u2019s NHL trade deadline<\/a>, but that hasn\u2019t stopped the name of one of his goaltenders from appearing in trade talks.According to Kevin Weekes, Oilers netminder Connor Ingram<\/a> is among the names of goaltenders who \u201chave been discussed in different potential trade scenarios.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ingram\u2019s name is one of many, including the Florida Panthers\u2019 Sergei Bobrovsky, the Minnesota Wild\u2019s Jesper Wallstedt, the St. Louis Blues\u2019 Jordan Binnington, the Toronto Maple Leafs\u2019 Anthony Stolarz, and the Pittsburgh Penguins\u2019 Stuart Skinner.<\/p>\n

Two of the netminders on the list, both Ingram and Skinner, have already been moved this season, with the Oilers being involved in both transactions.<\/p>\n

Ingram was acquired<\/a> by the Oilers in October from the Utah Mammoth for future considerations. He started the season with the AHL\u2019s Bakersfield Condors, but made his Oilers debut on Dec. 21, 2025, for the Oilers. He\u2019s posted an 8-6-1 record in 17 games this year, with a .890 save percentage, a 2.83 goals-against average and a 60 per cent quality start percentage.He\u2019s been arguably the best Oilers netminder this season, with Skinner having started the year with the Oilers, posting an 11-8-4 record, .891 save percentage, a 2.83 goals-against average and a 43.5 per cent quality start percentage. Skinner was dealt<\/a> alongside a 2029 second-round pick and defenceman Brett Kulak to the Penguins for Tristan Jarry and Sam Poulin.<\/p>\n

Jarry, however, has struggled to fit in Edmonton, posting an 6-4-1 record, a .863 save percentage, 3.85 goals-against average and a measly 27.3 per cent quality start percentage.<\/p>\n

Goaltending has been a contentious point for the team this year, with the Oilers\u2019 .876 team save percentage the fourth-worst in the NHL.<\/p>\n

The Oilers don\u2019t have much cap space to work with, currently sitting at $475,000, though the team could create up to $2.275 million in space by assigning forwards Josh Samanski and Colton Dach to the Condors.<\/p>\n
