Calgary police are asking for help from the public to identity two men believed to be responsible for an assault outside a bar downtown last month.<\/p>\n
Investigators say it happened shortly before 2 a.m. outside The Unicorn pub on Stephen Avenue.<\/p>\n
A man was standing outside the bar when he was approached by someone he didn\u2019t know. That man had been kicked out of the bar earlier for causing a disturbance, police add.<\/p>\n
The suspect became increasingly aggressive with the man. Several bystanders intervened, according to investigators.<\/p>\n
At this time, a second suspect got involved.<\/p>\n
Police say the pair assaulted the initial victim, as well as one of the bystanders who tried to intervene, before running away.<\/p>\n
They were last seen walking eastbound on 8 Avenue SW.<\/p>\n
The first suspect is between 25 and 30 years old, about six feet tall with a slim build, dark hair, and a beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing black pants, white shoes, and no shirt.<\/p>\n
The second suspect is also between 25 and 30 years old, six feet tall, with a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black \u2018Roots\u2019 hoodie, a baseball cap, black pants, and black shoes.<\/p>\n
