{"id":518914,"date":"2026-03-06T21:01:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-06T21:01:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/518914\/"},"modified":"2026-03-06T21:01:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T21:01:09","slug":"epf-emerges-as-substantial-shareholder-in-itmax","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/518914\/","title":{"rendered":"EPF emerges as substantial shareholder in ITMAX"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA LUMPUR (March 6): The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has emerged as a substantial shareholder of ITMAX System Bhd (KL:<a href=\"https:\/\/theedgemalaysia.com\/askedge\/klse\/5309\" class=\"ce-stock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ITMAX<\/a>), following its latest acquisition of shares in the smart city integrated systems and solutions provider.<\/p>\n<p>The pension fund&#8217;s shareholding crossed the 5% disclosure threshold after acquiring one million shares, equivalent to a 0.097% stake, on Tuesday (March 3), according to ITMAX\u2019s bourse filing on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The latest purchase bumped the fund\u2019s total stake in ITMAX to 5.005%, representing 51.84 million shares.<\/p>\n<p>ITMAX\u2019s largest shareholder is Tan Sri Tan Boon Hock, who controls 48.413% via Sena Holdings Sdn Bhd.
