UPDATE: London-born forward Nazem Kadri returns to the Colorado Avalanche in a trade with the Calgary Flames. Kadri reportedly signed a seven-year contract with the Flames in August of 2022, costing the team $49 million.<\/p>\n

Several teams are making their final moves as the NHL trade deadline day comes to a close.<\/p>\n

Early morning on Friday, Defenseman John Carlson from the Washington Capitals had been traded to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a conditional 1st-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, and a third-round pick in 2027.<\/p>\n

The Buffalo Sabres acquired New York Rangers forward Sam Carrick for a third round and sixth round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.<\/p>\n

The Boston Bruins traded former London Knights defenseman Jackson Edward and London-born forward Brett Harrison to the Philadelphia Flyers for forwards Alexis Gendron and Massimo Rizzo.<\/p>\n

Bobby Brink from the Philadelphia Flyers was also moved to the Minnesota Wild for David Jiricek.<\/p>\n

The Chicago Blackhawks traded captain Nick Foligno to the Minnesota Wild. Blackhawks coach, Jeff Blashill confirmed, the 38 year old forward will join his brother Marcus Foligno in St.Paul.<\/p>\n
