That would\u2019ve created a 2-on-0 rush, but Heise already had a head of steam going to the net, so Corkish gave him the puck for Heise\u2019s breakaway, and Heise fired a shot that bounced off the goaltender\u2019s shoulder and in for his 25th of the year.<\/p>\n

Finally at the 17:18, it was the birthday boy\u2019s turn to score. After Riley Boychuk managed to win a puck battle below the goal line to the left of the net and send it back to the blueline for Daxon Rudolph. He walked in, picked his spot on the net, and fired a wrist shot for his 26th of the season.<\/p>\n

The Raiders didn\u2019t get their first powerplay until the third period, which started with 30 seconds of 4-on-4, but the Raiders never had their lines settled during it, and that lead to a tense third.<\/p>\n

At the 16:05 mark, Julien Maze brought the puck into the attacking zone and tried to split the defenders. He didn\u2019t get through with a good shooting lane, but he did get close enough to the net to fire a shot that generated a rebound, and former Raider Harrison Lodewyk crashing the net found the rebound to get the Hitmen on the board for their only goal of the night.<\/p>\n
