Peel Regional Police are still on the scene of a shooting that took place in Mississauga early this morning.<\/p>\n

Officers were called to the Hurontario Street and Dixie Road area over reports that a man had been wounded. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering gunshot injuries.<\/p>\n

The victim was taken to the hospital and is now considered to be in good condition with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Police have not indicated a motive, and a description of the person responsible has not been released.<\/p>\n

Investigators hope any witnesses or those who have information about the shooting will contact them at 905-459-3311.<\/p>\n
