Thunderstorms with rainfall up to 25 mm possible and foggy conditions with near-zero visibility have led to weather notices issued in southern Ontario.<\/p>\n

Environment Canada has issued a yellow fog advisory for southern Ontario, including Mississauga, Brampton, Halton Hills and Burlington, and says locally dense fog is expected on Friday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cVisibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times,\u201d the weather agency says.<\/p>\n

Travel could be hazardous in some locations. The fog is expected to dissipate overnight or early Saturday morning as winds shift to the southwest.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a rainfall advisory due to thunderstorms in the Greater Toronto Area. Rainfall between 15 to 25 mm is expected in Mississauga and Brampton, with locally higher amounts possible.<\/p>\n

Showers and isolated thunderstorms combined with mild temperatures will likely melt much of the snowpack and lead to additional runoff, the weather agency says.<\/p>\n
