The description to the left of the toggle is the current behavior. The new \u201cTap to Draft\u201d places the suggestion in the text field for you to further edit before sending. It adds a good second step to avoid accidental sends.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re seeing Tap to Draft with <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/apps\/testing\/com.google.android.apps.messaging\/join\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">beta version<\/a> 20260303_00_RC00 of Google Messages.
