{"id":521990,"date":"2026-03-08T06:38:18","date_gmt":"2026-03-08T06:38:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/521990\/"},"modified":"2026-03-08T06:38:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-08T06:38:18","slug":"three-men-charged-following-traffic-stops-in-surrey-and-maple-ridge-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/521990\/","title":{"rendered":"Three men charged following traffic stops in Surrey and Maple Ridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>              Three men charged following traffic stops in Surrey and Maple Ridge<\/p>\n<p class=\"pubStamp\">Published 12:41 pm Friday, March 6, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Three men have been charged in connection with unrelated traffic stops in Surrey and Maple Ridge by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of BC (CFSEU-BC).<\/p>\n<p>Members of the CFSEU-BC uniform gang enforcement team (UGET) \u201cconducted a traffic stop\u201d on Chase William Flemming Hall on Nov. 26, 2025, in Surrey.<\/p>\n<p>Hall was charged on Feb. 25 with possessing ammunition while prohibited, possessing another person\u2019s identity document and fraudulently impersonating another person with the intent to avoid arrest. He is scheduled to appear in Surrey provincial court on March 12.<\/p>\n<p>On Dec. 17, 2025, UGET officers attempted to stop Joshua Charles Lanksbury Redman in Maple Ridge. This incident led to his arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Redman was charged on Feb. 26 with operating a vehicle while being pursued by police and failing to stop the vehicle, and operating \u201ca conveyance in a manner that, having regard to all circumstances, was dangerous to the public.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Court records online do not indicate when Redman\u2019s first court appearance is scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>Then, on Feb. 6 in Surrey, officers from the UGET stopped Gursevak Singh Nagra, who was \u201cprohibited from driving\u201d a vehicle. He was charged with driving a vehicle while knowing he was prohibited from driving.<\/p>\n<p>Nagra\u2019s first appearance in court is scheduled for March 19 at Surrey provincial court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProactive enforcement by our Uniform Gang Enforcement Team continues to play a critical role in identifying criminal activity and holding offenders accountable,\u201d said Sgt. Sarbjit K.
