{"id":522723,"date":"2026-03-08T14:56:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-08T14:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/522723\/"},"modified":"2026-03-08T14:56:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-08T14:56:09","slug":"boxer-tyler-christopher-wins-by-decision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/522723\/","title":{"rendered":"Boxer Tyler Christopher Wins By Decision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Written by <a href=\"https:\/\/bernews.com\/tag\/stephenwrightreports\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stephen Wright<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p>Bermudian boxer Tyler Christopher extended his unbeaten professional record to 12 wins with a convincing points victory in Staffordshire, England, on Thursday [March 6].<\/p>\n<p>Christopher accepted the four-round super-welterweight contest on just four days\u2019 notice and was awarded a unanimous decision by the referee on the St Patrick\u2019s fight card at the Excelsior Sporting Club in Cannock.<\/p>\n<p>The southpaw thanked his team in a post on social media after the bout.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you to my coach Anthony Hull,\u201d Christopher wrote. \u201cThank you to my manager Jon Pegg. Thank you to Scott Murray for getting me on the show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hull, who coaches Christopher at the D&amp;A Boxing School of Excellence in Stirchley, Birmingham, said the Bermudian controlled the fight from start to finish.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoving to 12-0 with a solid performance, winning every round and staying in control throughout,\u201d Hull said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn his last couple of fights Tyler has also scored two stoppages and dropped some good contenders along the way.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe all know he is built for more rounds. Four rounds don\u2019t really suit his boxing style \u2014 he needs the longer fights to really get going.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut it\u2019s all part of the journey.
