The storm will begin as a mix of rain and snow Sunday morning, then shift to heavy, steady snowfall near noon with up to 10 centimetres expected through the day. Winds will also be a factor early in the day.<\/p>\n
Temperatures are expected to fall from above seasonal on Saturday to around \u20133 C by Sunday afternoon. It will feel more like -10 with the wind chill.<\/p>\n
Another 5 to 10 centimetres is expected on Sunday night as snow continues at times heavy. The storm is expected to taper off early Monday morning.<\/p>\n
Environment Canada warns that roads, sidewalks, and pathways will become difficult to navigate, with visibility reduced at times during the heaviest snowfall. Drivers are advised to allow extra time, adjust to conditions, and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility.<\/p>\n
