That will especially sting after all the work they did today, especially as their sprinter Van Uden was nowhere to be seen in the sprint finish.<\/p>\n<p>2026-03-08T16:07:41.829Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"a0bf1339-d13d-4c1d-bda9-985e46a847cf\">That\u2019s also the biggest win of Lamperti\u2019s career so far. There was much hype surrounding the American during his time at QuickStep, but he never quite lived up to expectations. Victory today suggests that EF Education-EasyPost might be where the 23-year-old really starts to blossom.<\/p>\n<p>2026-03-08T16:05:54.280Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"e849182b-b081-4ce6-8a72-c37cca23866b\">Lamperti\u2019s victory comes as a huge relief for EF Education-EasyPost, as before today they had not claimed a single victory this year. He\u2019s had a slow start to the season, however, and failed to get in the mix for the sprints at the UAE Tour.<\/p>\n<p>2026-03-08T13:12:35.374Z<\/p>\n<p id=\"e46f4cb0-ed63-4ae7-a123-3ec93e43d6ec\">For NSN, Biniam Girmay has been in terrific sprinting form this season, winning bunch sprints at Volta Comunitat Valenciana and the Clasica de Almeria.
