(CBS12) \u2014 A four-time WNBA All-Star was arrested Thursday after allegedly hitting a security guard outside a popular Miami nightclub.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report from the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/arike-ogunbowale-arrested-wings-unrivaled-6d09f808d96aaf5d0b724b139fc089c1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Associated Press<\/a>, 29-year-old Arike Ogunbowale of the Dallas Wings hit the security guard, knocking him to the ground outside the E11EVEN nightclub just after 4 a.m. The athlete was reportedly at the club to celebrate winning the Unrivaled championship, a game in which she scored 19 points just hours earlier against the Phantom.<\/p>\n<p>See also: <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/news\/local\/miami-traffic-stop-ends-with-trooper-stabbed-woman-shot-child-in-dhs-custody\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Florida traffic stop ends with trooper stabbed, woman shot, child in DHS custody<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Miami-Dade Police say the security guard was attempting to escort Ogunboawale out of the club during the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Ogunbowale was booked for one count of battery and was released on bond Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"MIAMI, Fla.
