Following the March 2026 update for Google Pixel Watch devices, a number of users are reporting that their SpO2 (blood oxygen) and skin temperature readings have vanished from the Fitbit app.<\/p>\n

The Pixel Watch lineup can help build out a pretty comprehensive view of various health metrics, with two of those being SpO2 \u2013 more commonly known as blood oxygen \u2013 as well as your skin temperature. These two metrics in particular can be helpful in determining early signs that you might be getting sick. It can\u2019t replace a doctor\u2019s diagnosis, but it\u2019s useful for finding trends that might be out of the ordinary for you.<\/p>\n

But, suddenly, these aren\u2019t working for some Pixel Watch owners.<\/p>\n

Following the March 2026 Pixel Watch update<\/a> that rolled out last week, a considerable number of Pixel Watch owners have taken to several <\/a>Reddit <\/a>threads<\/a>, Google\u2019s <\/a>forums<\/a>, and the Fitbit forums<\/a> regarding missing SpO2 and skin temperature metrics. This data is collected overnight, so there\u2019s no way to manually check if it\u2019s working beyond sleeping with the smartwatch on your wrist. This does not appear to be a server-side issue, as users (including this author) are still seeing these readings work on prior Pixel Watch software builds.<\/p>\n

Some report that clearing the Fitbit app\u2019s cache as well as resetting their Pixel Watch seems to resolve the problem. <\/p>\n
