Bethenny Frankel thinks Daryl Hannah could have done a \u201cbetter\u201d job landing her scathing takedown of Ryan Murphy\u2019s \u201cLove Story.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The \u201cReal Housewives of New York City\u201d alum shared her \u201ctake on Daryl Hannah\u2019s take\u201d<\/a> in a TikTok video Sunday.<\/p>\n

Frankel, 55, told her followers she believes the actress, 65, was \u201ctotally valid\u201d in her bombshell New York Times essay blasting her \u201cwhiny\u201d portrayal in the Hulu series about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.<\/p>\n

The 65-year-old (pictured above in October 1993), notably, published a bombshell essay Friday about her \u201cwhiny\u201d portrayal on the Hulu show. Getty Images<\/p>\n

However, the Bravolebrity noted, \u201cI think if she had educated the audience on many things that were a discrepancy, it would have made her particular portrayal being a discrepancy more credible.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf she gave, like, 10 ways the story is false, then we would have believed her portrayal is false,\u201d the former reality star continued.<\/p>\n

Frankel went on to dub the show, which stars Paul Anthony Kelly and Sarah Pidgeon, \u201cmost[ly] fiction.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frankel said Sunday Hannah could have come across as \u201cmore credible\u201d if she revealed more discrepancies from the series. bethennyfrankel\/TikTok<\/p>\n

She insisted, \u201cI\u2019ve been up to the Calvin Klein showrooms and it wasn\u2019t like that. \u2026 The difference is the younger generation believes it to be fact when people my age know it\u2019s sensationalism for entertainment, success and ratings.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Skinnygirl creator compared the project to the \u201cTitanic,\u201d saying, \u201cThere are many ways to entertain an audience to get them to listen to a story. The story seems to be a basis or a framework.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frankel doubled down on there being \u201cso much wrong\u201d in the show, noting that many \u201ccharacters [were] left out\u201d of the narrative altogether.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s sensationalism for entertainment, success and ratings,\u201d the Bravolebrity (pictured above in Feb. 24) told her followers. bethennyfrankel\/Instagram<\/p>\n

The nine episodes, notably, cover Kennedy Jr. and Bessett\u2019s love story<\/a> up to their tragic deaths in a 1999 plane crash.<\/p>\n

Hannah, who dated Kennedy Jr. on and off between 1988 and 1994 before he moved on with Bessette<\/a>, is played by Dree Hemingway.<\/p>\n

The \u201cBlade Runner\u201d star railed against the \u201ctragedy-exploiting\u201d show on Friday, labeling it a \u201cfalse \u2026 distortion\u201d with \u201cembellishments.\u201d<\/p>\n

Not only did Hannah deny being \u201cirritating, self-absorbed \u2026 and inappropriate,\u201d but she hit back at specific plot points, from \u201ccompar[ing] Jacqueline Onassis\u2019 death to a dog\u2019s\u201d to \u201cdesecrat[ing] a family heirloom.\u201d<\/p>\n

Murphy has yet to respond to Hannah\u2019s viral essay.<\/p>\n

Kennedy Jr.\u2019s cousin Douglas Kennedy told Page Six<\/a> last week that Hannah \u201cwas great\u201d and called the show, which he has yet to watch, \u201ca misrepresentation\u201d of her character.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove Story\u201d airs weekly on Thursdays (9 p.m.) on FX and Fridays on Hulu.\u00a0<\/p>\n
