There\u2019s a woman led boxing club providing self defense classes hosted by East Prairie Metis Settlement Stacy Bellerose on March 14. 2026 from 4pm to 6pm, March 21 2pm to 4pm, and March 28, 2pm to 4pm at Team Impact Gym in Calgary.<\/p>\n

Stacy Bellerose, Owner of Waniska Boxing tells CJWE, \u201cSelf dense is a great way to protect yourself and advocate for yourself. She provides our network with TIPS to stay safe:<\/p>\n

Make sure your not walking at night by yourself.
\nLet people know where your going.
\nTurn on your location.
\nAlways be aware of your surrounding.
\nDon\u2019t talk to people that you don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

The cost of each session is $25 per class.<\/p>\n
