DeKALB, Ill. \u2013 Malika Kabdesh<\/a> and Nataly Ninova<\/a> of the Northern Illinois University women’s tennis team were named Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the league announced today.<\/p>\n The duo went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles this weekend, defeating UIC’s Nia Cooper \/ Dongke Liu 6-2 then downed Gracie Ha \/ Abigail Weaver of Wisconsin-Whitewater 6-1. Kabdesh and Ninova are 8-4 this season, all coming at No. 1 doubles.<\/p>\n Ninova became NIU’s all-time singles leader on Sunday, securing his 90th career singles victory, and climbed to No. 4 on the Huskies’ doubles wins list with her 68th career victory.<\/p>\n The Huskies have been recognized for Player of the Week four times this season.
