EXCLUSIVE: Three-time Oscar nominee and original John Rambo actor, Sylvester Stallone, has come aboard Lionsgate, Millenium Media and AGBO prequel John Rambo as an executive producer.<\/p>\n
This is the first time that Stallone has ever produced a Rambo movie, the latest installment taking the 44-year-old franchise to six titles. Stallone isn\u2019t starring in the movie since it takes place in the events preceding 1982\u2019s First Blood. Noah Centineo takes over as Rambo. The pic, directed by Sisu\u2018s Jalmari Helander, is currently filming in Bangkok, Thailand.<\/p>\n

Stallone was a writer on the previous five Rambo movies which have grossed over $819M at the global box office. He also directed the 2008 installment, Rambo. <\/p>\n

Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani wrote the John Rambo screenplay. The producers are Kevin King Templeton and Les Weldon,\u00a0Jonathan Yunger\u00a0for Millennium Media,\u00a0and Angela Russo-Otstot\u00a0and Michael Disco\u00a0for AGBO. The executive\u00a0producers include\u00a0Anthony & Joe Russo,\u00a0Trevor\u00a0Short,\u00a0and Dallas Sonnier and Amanda Presmyk for\u00a0Bonfire Legend, alongside Sylvester Stallone.\u00a0The film is produced by Lionsgate, Millennium Media, Templeton Media, and AGBO, and will be distributed by Lionsgate.<\/p>\n
