Corey Feldman<\/a> recently alleged that the Oscars did not invite him to participate in a planned tribute for the late Rob Reiner<\/a> at the upcoming awards show broadcast. <\/p>\n

What did Corey Feldman say about not being invited to the Rob Reiner tribute?<\/p>\n

In a recent post on X<\/a>, Feldman addressed concerns that he was not invited to a planned tribute to Reiner, who was shockingly killed in December 2025. The tribute for the legendary filmmaker is set to include other stars from Reiner\u2019s past movies, including Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan, according to Variety. <\/p>\n

In his post, Feldman said that he wasn\u2019t invited to the show, and believes it has something to do with the fact that he\u2019s been outspoken about the abuse he\u2019s suffered in the past<\/a>. Despite this, Feldman says the focus of everything should still be on Reiner and his memory. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to briefly mention this Oscars thing! Yes, it\u2019s true that I was not invited,\u201d Feldman\u2019s post read. \u201cI understand many believe it\u2019s due to being outspoken about the abuse I suffered as a child and the campaign to silence me. However, this isn\u2019t about me. It\u2019s not my moment at all. It\u2019s about the tragic loss of our friend Rob Reiner and his memory. <\/p>\n

\u201cAs much I appreciate all support, it\u2019s very sweet of you\u2026 but please stop. Please take down any petitions to push for my presence at the awards,\u201d he continued. \u201cThey don\u2019t need me there. Will and Jerry got this I\u2019m sure. They will do a fantastic job\u2026 I\u2019ll honor Rob my own way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Feldman was a star in Reiner\u2019s classic 1986 movie Stand By Me. While not confirmed, Feldman\u2019s post seems to allege that both Jerry O\u2019Connell and Wil Wheaton will be on hand for the Academy Awards to honor Reiner. <\/p>\n
