If the rumors<\/a> hold up, we should be seeing Apple\u2019s first foray into the foldable smartphone market later this year alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series. The iPhone Fold<\/a> has been the subject of countless speculations<\/a> which have painted a pretty detailed picture of what to expect. A new set of CAD-based renders of the device shared by Sonny Dickson<\/a> gives us yet another look at the alleged design.<\/p>\n

Just as previous rumors have suggested, the iPhone Fold will bring a similar design to Google\u2019s first-gen Pixel Fold<\/a> with a wide cover screen. The front panel is rumored to come in at 5.5 inches, and it features a single punch hole cutout up top for the selfie camera. Based on speculation<\/a>, it will go for a 4:3 aspect ratio, making it more usable than the square-ish aspects of most current book foldables.<\/p>\n

We can also see the iPhone Fold\u2019s camera plateau housing two sensors and an LED flash. Based on the latest speculation, these should be 48MP shooters.<\/p>\n

The main screen, which is rumored to come in at 7.8 inches, is said to feature a minimal (but not completely absent) crease<\/a> as well as a punch hole cutout in the top left corner. Both selfie cameras are expected to offer 18MP resolution.<\/p>\n

The foldable iPhone is expected to feature a liquid metal hinge<\/a> which will be joined by a titanium frame to help keep the device as light as possible.
