In 2023, she raced in the Open Two-Wheel-Drive class and became the youngest champion in the series at 16 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>In 2024 and 2025, the American driver switched to single-seaters, and she joined the Williams Racing driver academy and raced in the all-female racing series, F1 Academy.<\/p>\n<p>After leaving F1 Academy at the end of 2025, Block decided to return to the world of rally rather than pursue a future in single-seaters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m stepping up to the RC2 class in a Hyundai Rally2 car, which is very exciting for me,\u201d Block told <a href=\"https:\/\/dirtfish.com\/rally\/ara\/lia-block-to-fight-for-ara-title-in-hyundai-i20-n-rally2\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:DirtFish;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;context_link&quot;,&quot;yModuleName&quot;:&quot;content-canvas&quot;,&quot;yLinkText&quot;:&quot;DirtFish&quot;}\" class=\"link \">DirtFish<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously a big step up from the 2023 championship and the Rally3 car, but I believe in myself and my ability to learn new cars and new disciplines very quickly, so I\u2019m just really excited for the road ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Discussing her goal of winning the championship, she added: \u201cI think it\u2019s very, very possible to be fighting for the championship and that\u2019s what I will be working towards.<\/p>\n<p>Lia Block, ART Grand Prix<img alt=\"Lia Block, ART Grand Prix\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"639\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"standard-img\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/46a35cf59721b741cf4905cd164b470e.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Lia Block, ART Grand Prix<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, as you know, rally is a very unpredictable sport and things can happen two corners from the finish, and I learned that already this year!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think I\u2019ve already showed my talent in rally by winning the rear-wheel-drive championship in 2023, but the overall championship is definitely what I\u2019m going for, and of course it\u2019s a big deal.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think this year won\u2019t have a lack of competition, and I think that\u2019s going to be the most difficult part. But I really, really do look forward to it.
