The Golden State Warriors<\/a> won\u2019t have long to dwell on their Monday night loss to the Utah Jazz<\/a>, as they\u2019ll be right back in action against the Chicago Bulls<\/a> on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

The Warriors will look to avoid a third straight loss in the matchup with Chicago.<\/p>\n

Steph Curry ruled out vs. Bulls due to nagging knee injury<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for the Warriors, they\u2019ll continue to be without the services of star guard Steph Curry, who has been ruled out of the game due to the nagging knee injury that has kept him on the sideline since late January.<\/p>\n

The injury has been called right patellofemoral pain syndrome, which is also commonly referred to as “runner’s knee” \u2013 an injury defined by pain and swelling around the kneecap area.<\/p>\n

It will be the 15th consecutive game missed by the star guard as a result the injury.\u00a0Curry’s last game action came way back on Jan. 30 against the Detroit Pistons<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On the season, Curry has appeared in 39 games for the Warriors and he’s averaging 27.2 points, 4.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals per performance.<\/p>\n

The hope is that Curry will be able to return to game action in the near future, but no concrete timetable has been provided at this point in time. After Tuesday night, Golden State’s next game will come against the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> on Friday night. We’ll have to wait and see what Curry’s status is for that game.<\/p>\n
