Instead, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/ivan-demidov\/8484984\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/ivan-demidov\/8484984\" target=\"_blank\">Ivan Demidov<\/a> skated alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/nick-suzuki\/8480018\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/nick-suzuki\/8480018\" target=\"_blank\">Nick Suzuki<\/a> and Juraj Slafkovsky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Canadiens led the Leafs 2-1 after two periods. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Caufield remained on the Canadiens bench through the first half of the third period. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He took his first shift with just over eight minutes remaining in the frame for a Canadiens\u2019 power play. Caufield would take one more shift, on another Canadiens power play, before heading to the locker room with under two minutes remaining and the Habs defending the 2-1 lead against an empty net. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Caufield, 25, has 37 goals and 64 points in 62 games entering tonight\u2019s contest.
