Kathie Lee Gifford thinks \u201cThe View\u201d is a lot meaner now than it used to be.<\/p>\n
The TV show personality, 72, appeared on Monday\u2019s episode of the \u201cTomi Lahren Is Fearless\u201d podcast <\/a>and called out \u201cThe View\u201d for being more polarizing and \u201cvicious\u201d than it was years ago.<\/p>\n Gifford brought up the daytime talk show when host Tomi Lahren asked Gifford if she feels the public is more divided now.<\/p>\n Kathie Lee Gifford called out \u201cThe View\u201d as being more \u201cvicious\u201d than it used to be years ago during her appearance on the \u201cTomi Lahren Is Fearless\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n The TV show personality told host Tomi Lahren that people are \u201cmeaner\u201d now in general. Now, there\u2019s a viciousness.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, I used to be able to go on \u2018The View\u2019 and talk to Joy [Behar] and Whoopi [Goldberg] and a lot of the other people there \u2014 Debbie Matenopoulos and I are still good pals \u2014 and never had a problem, you know, with anybody because they weren\u2019t trying to \u2026 I don\u2019t proselytize everything.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI share my faith, but I don\u2019t say, \u2018You\u2019re going to go to hell if you don\u2019t.\u2019 I don\u2019t do that, you know?\u201d she continued. \u201cI want people to have a little bit more heaven in their life than hell.\u201d<\/p>\n Gifford also observed of the current TV landscape, \u201cI mean, everybody seems like they\u2019re just miserable people now.\u201d YouTube\/@TomiLahrenIsFearless<\/p>\n Gifford said she \u201cused to be able to go on \u2018The View\u2019 and talk to Joy [Behar] and Whoopi [Goldberg] and a lot of the other people there\u201d but times have changed.
