<\/p>\nSpring may be just around the corner, but more snow is on the way for parts of Alberta, and Calgary won\u2019t escape seeing some snow soon.<\/p>\n
Looking at the Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Significant Weather Outlook, portions of Alberta are at risk of seeing some snow starting on Wednesday, March 11.<\/p>\n
A slice of extreme southwestern Alberta is at risk of seeing 10 to 15 centimetres of snow, mainly hugging the Rockies to the U.S. border.<\/p>\n

ECCC Significant Weather Outlook<\/p>\n
Looking further down the week, much more of southern Alberta is in play for the chance of snow on the outlook issued for Thursday, March 12.<\/p>\n
An area stretching from the Rockies just south of Jasper National Park, right through Banff National Park, the Foothills, Calgary, Medicine Hat, and to the Saskatchewan border is under the gun to see 10 to 20 centimetres of snow appear.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s forecast to be even snowier in the Lethbridge and Waterton Lakes National Park areas, with a strip of southern Alberta at risk of seeing 20 to 30 centimetres. The moisture is badly needed in these areas, so that\u2019s a good place for the snow to fall.<\/p>\n

ECCC Significant Weather Outlook<\/p>\n
Looking at the seven-day forecast for Calgary, it\u2019s filled with chances of snow as we slide towards the weekend.<\/p>\n
A 30 per cent chance of flurries is present for the city today, with the risk remaining the same for tomorrow before transitioning into periods of snow tomorrow night.<\/p>\n
Snow is expected all day and night on Thursday, March 12, while a 60 per cent chance of flurries is also noted the night of Friday, March 13, with periods of snow on tap during the day on Saturday, March 14.<\/p>\n
