Strumbellas to headline 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair<\/p>\n

Music fans and rodeo-goers get to see The Strumbellas perform at this year\u2019s Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair.<\/p>\n
Fans will get to see them on the main stage Sunday, May 17. The concert is free with a Cloverdale Fairgrounds general admission ticket. (Early bird, before March 31, $14; $18 in advance; $20 at the gate.)<\/p>\n
Along with The Strumbellas, other headliners for Rodeo Weekend include: Cooper Alan, Brett Kissel, k-os, Tony Stevens, Gord Bamford, and The Road Hammers.<\/p>\n
Kathy Sheppard, Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibition Association (CREA) president, said with seven headlining acts and more than one hundred artists performing throughout the weekend, the festival atmosphere will be \u201con another level\u201d at the Fairgrounds.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re incredibly excited about the expanded music lineup at this year\u2019s Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair,\u201d Sheppard told the Cloverdale Reporter. \u201cIt\u2019s all about creating an unforgettable experience for our guests\u2014whether they come for the rodeo, the fair, or the music.\u201d<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, CREA announced the 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair would expand to five days, with a kickoff concert to take place on the Thursday night. (The move prompted the Cloverdale BIA to move their famous bed races to Wednesday.)<\/p>\n
Sheppard said this year will be the biggest music lineup ever. She said most of the stages are free, so all it costs is admission to the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. Shows in the Longhorn Saloon are ticketed and require a ticket (above the Fairgrounds admission cost).<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve got so many artists and they span multiple genres, so there really will be something for everyone,\u201d she added. \u201cIt all starts Thursday with our Kickoff Concert.\u201d<\/p>\n
That Kickoff Concert, a 19-plus show to held in the Longhorn Saloon, will feature Brett Kissel and Cooper Alan as they open Rodeo Weekend on Thursday night (May 14).<\/p>\n
Along with tons of free musical acts, she encouraged rodeo- and fair-goers to take in \u201cthrilling\u201d rodeo competition or any of the multiplicity of family-friendly entertainment acts and shows the rodeo and fair are known for.<\/p>\n
The all-ages weekend festivities\u2014all included with a Cloverdale Fairgrounds admission ticket\u2014hit the stages on Friday night (May 15) when k-os performs on the main stage (next to the Longhorn). A new event will follow k-os on Friday night: the Rodeo Drone Show.<\/p>\n
On Saturday night (May 16), Tony Stevens and The Strumbellas will play back-to-back on the main stage. On Sunday night, both Gord Bamford and The Road Hammers will headline the main stage, also playing back-to-back.<\/p>\n
Sheppard said the more than 100 acts include: Indigenous artists, emerging local country musicians, and returning fan favourites.<\/p>\n
The Indigenous Village stage will feature Dallas Arcand\u2014a four-time world champion hoop dancer, the Murray Porter Band, the Wild River Singers and Dancers, and many others.<\/p>\n
The \u201claid-back\u201d Hops and Vines stage is back and the \u201chigh-energy\u201d main stage will showcase talent \u201ccurated in partnership with the B.C. Country Music Association\u201d from open to close.<\/p>\n
