<\/p>\nA police investigation into a shooting and robbery near Hamilton just over two years ago has led to the arrests of three youths from Peel.<\/p>\n
Hamilton Police said the arrests were made recently in connection with the March 3, 2024 shooting and theft of a vehicle in the area of Concession Road 6 East and Centre Road in Flamborough, some 15 kilometres north of Hamilton.<\/p>\n
Police said two victims were in that area to sell vape pens and shortly after arriving were robbed of their property and vehicle by several people.<\/p>\n
During the robbery, one person discharged a single round from a gun, police said, adding no injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
The stolen vehicle was recovered a short time later in Peel, police added.<\/p>\n
Subsequent investigation led to the arrests of three suspects from Peel. Police didn\u2019t say if those charged are from Mississauga or Brampton.<\/p>\n

Two 18-year-olds and a 19-year-old are jointly charged with:<\/p>\n
Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
\nPossession of property obtained by crime (two counts).
\nRobbery with a firearm (two counts).
\nTheft of motor vehicle.
\nReckless discharge of a firearm.<\/p>\n
At the time of the shooting and car theft, all three accused were youths, police said. Therefore, they cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.<\/p>\n
