The Montreal Canadiens<\/a> recalled goaltender Jacob Fowler<\/a> from the AHL\u2019s Laval Rocket on Wednesday and will get the start against the Ottawa Senators<\/a>.<\/p>\n This is Fowlers second stint in Montreal after he went 4-4-2 with a 2.62 goals-against average and .902 save percentage earlier this season.<\/p>\n Fowler, 21, is among the AHL goaltending leaders this season, going 19-7-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .916 save percentage.<\/p>\n The 6-foot-1 netminder was drafted 69th overall by the Canadiens in 2023 and is playing his first full year in professional hockey.<\/p>\n Montreal is 3-1-2 since returning from the Olympic break, allowing 22 goals during that span.
