Eilish is a two-time Oscar winner for co-writing the original songs for \u201cBarbie\u201d and \u201cNo Time to Die\u201d with her brother Finneas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThe Bell Jar\u201d is the only novel written by American writer and poet Plath. The semi-autobiographical story chronicles a young woman\u2019s descent into mental illness amid the stifling societal expectations for women in the 1950s. The book, hailed as a literary classic, was published under a pseudonym in 1963, shortly before Plath\u2019s suicide.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tPolley\u2019s \u201cThe Bell Jar\u201d has landed at Focus Features and will be produced by Joy Gorman Wettels (\u201cLittle House on the Prairie,\u201d \u201c13 Reasons Why\u201d), <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/plan-b\/\" id=\"auto-tag_plan-b\" data-tag=\"plan-b\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Plan B<\/a> Entertainment and StudioCanal. Gorman Wettels originated the project through her company Joy Coalition, packaging the project with Eilish and Polley and partnering with Plan B and StudioCanal before Focus boarded.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tEilish made her acting debut in the Prime Video series \u201cSwarm,\u201d co-created by Donald Glover and Janine Nabers and starring Dominique Fishback. Eilish delivered a standout performance, which earned her the People\u2019s Choice Award for TV performance of the year and an Independent Spirit Award nod for best supporting performance in a new scripted series.
