Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings\u2019 Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie will see Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/spider-man\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Spider-Man<\/a>, while Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will both return as Michelle \u201cMJ\u201d Jones-Watson and Ned Leeds.<\/p>\n<p>Who has joined the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/Melanie-Scrofano\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Melanie Scrofano<\/a> announced on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DM8EGnLtI1Z\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Instagram<\/a> that she has a role in Spider-Man 4. View the post below.<\/p>\n<p>Scrofano is known for playing Captain Marie Batel in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and the titular character in Syfy\u2019s Wynonna Earp series. She also stars as Dana Cypress in Syfy\u2019s Revival show and portrays Mrs. McMurray in Letterkenny.<\/p>\n<p>As for her work in movies, Scrofano\u2019s filmography includes 2009\u2019s Saw VI, 2011\u2019s Citizen Gangster, 2014\u2019s RoboCop, 2019\u2019s Ready or Not, 2020\u2019s The Silencing, and 2022\u2019s The End of Sex, among a number of other titles.<\/p>\n<p>It is unclear who Scrofano will play in Spider-Man: Brand New Day at this time, as official plot details for the movie remain under wraps. Stranger Things\u2019 Sadie Sink and The Bear\u2019s Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas have similarly been cast in undisclosed roles.<\/p>\n<p>Jon Bernthal, meanwhile, will return as Frank Castle\/Punisher in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/marvel-studios\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marvel Studios<\/a> movie, while Mark Ruffalo\u2019s Bruce Banner\/Hulk has a role as well. Also returning to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/mcu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MCU<\/a> is Michael Mando\u2019s Mac Gargan\/Scorpion, a character who debuted in 2017\u2019s Spider-Man: Homecoming and then hasn\u2019t been seen since then.<\/p>\n<p>Spider-Man 4 will be released in United States theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU.
