She was upset that Phyllis didn\u2019t tell her what was going on. Phyllis argued that it wasn\u2019t her responsibility to keep her in the loop. But Nikk is desperate for the truth, especially when it concerns Victor\u2019s crimes.<\/p>\n

Nikki Storms the Newman Ranch<\/p>\n

Later, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) stormed the Newman ranch. By making this movie, Nikki brought the Abbott\/Newman conflict into their private life. She forced Victor (Eric Brareden) to face consequences where he usually exerts the most control.<\/p>\n

Nikki abandoned her role as mediator. She shifted from defending Victor\u2019s ruthless ways to challenging his morality, especially regarding her friend Jack (Peter Bergman).<\/p>\n

When Nikki stormed the ranch, she didn\u2019t gently call out for her husband. She shouted for him, demanding that it was time for him to deal with her, nobody else. He was going to have to answer to her.<\/p>\n

By escalating the conflict to a kidnapping, Victor moved from a ruthless businessman to a criminal. His reliance on fear as a motivator is failing. When he pressured Phyllis to hand over control of Chancellor, he expected a smooth transaction. <\/p>\n

Instead, he created a united front of people who are no longer afraid to lose everything. Victor underestimated the Abbott family\u2019s desperation. Also, he underestimated Nikki\u2019s breaking point. <\/p>\n

Victor spent decades assuming Nikki would always be his \u201cride-or-die.\u201d But by putting her in the position of defending an innocent man\u2019s life against her husband, he stripped away the ounce of legacy that he had.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s focused on his own obsession, and he can\u2019t hide it. The question isn\u2019t if Victor will fall, but whether he will take his family down with him. <\/p>\n
