The UFC and the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation announced on May 11 that a few of the current and former UFC stars will visit the FBI Special Agent Academy in Quantico, Virginia, on March 14 and 15 to hold an exclusive training seminar for FBI personnel (academy students and senior FBI staff).<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll be hosting a training seminar for FBI academy students this weekend, with fighters including Justin Gaethje, Michael Chandler, and Chris Weidman serving as instructors<\/p>\n

UFC fighters who will be a part of this exclusive seminar <\/p>\n

Matchmaker Mick Maynard will also be a part of this exclusive training seminar, and he, along with the rest of the team, will \u201cprovide insight into how they train for competition,\u201d and \u201cdemonstrate specific techniques\u201d to academy students and senior FBI staff, as per the latest press release by the promotion.<\/p>\n

In the same press release, FBI Director<\/a> Kash Patel, who is often in attendance at UFC events, emphasized that this seminar is important and agents need to master hand-to-hand combat to stay \u201ceven better prepared to protect the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is a tremendous opportunity for our FBI agents to learn and train with some of the greatest athletes on earth\u2014helping the world\u2019s premier law enforcement agency be even better prepared to protect the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n

The FBI director also lauded Dana White<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, White said the following about this \u201cfirst-of-its-kind collaboration\u201d between the UFC and the FBI.<\/p>\n
