After several months of renovations, a Brampton library has reopened to positive reviews.<\/p>\n

The South Fletcher\u2019s Branch, located in the Susan Fennell Sportsplex has a refreshed look that includes separate spaces for programming, quiet study, and collaboration; increased natural light by adding windows and is meant to offer a better customer experience, with updated furniture and decor.<\/p>\n

As well, the branch has a large collection of books and other library materials, Wi-Fi, computer stations, and a selection of programming for all ages.<\/p>\n

The space also features areas designed for young and older children, study rooms, bookable meeting rooms, and a wide variety of seating to enjoy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m impressed,\u201d said Harvey Kidd, who spoke to INsauga.com. \u201cI\u2019m an oldtimer but I like the modern look and feel. I spend a lot of time at libraries and I like what they have done here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Originally opened in 1996, the renovations took place because the City of Brampton felt that the needs of the community had changed, such as the need for approved technology for users as well as larger spaces.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo far, so good, we like what we see,\u201d said Preet Kaur as she looked for books with her children. \u201cIt\u2019s got a nicer feel to it now, more modern.\u201d<\/p>\n

After several months of renovations that saw the branch close down and move temporarily to Shoppers World Brampton, the new and improved South Fletcher\u2019s Branch now has a refreshed look that includes separate spaces for programming, quiet study, and collaboration; increased natural light by adding windows and is meant to offer a better customer experience, with updated furniture and decor.<\/p>\n

Operating hours at the library will be Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday to\u00a0 Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n
