{"id":532195,"date":"2026-03-12T20:53:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-12T20:53:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/532195\/"},"modified":"2026-03-12T20:53:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T20:53:08","slug":"dwars-door-vlaanderen-women-2026-route","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/532195\/","title":{"rendered":"Dwars door Vlaanderen Women 2026 route"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"6a128191-a36c-4266-bee0-f272b9df7fb8\">The elite women will compete in the new addition to the Women&#8217;s WorldTour &#8211; <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/dwars-door-vlaanderen-women\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/dwars-door-vlaanderen-women\/\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/dwars-door-vlaanderen-women\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dwars door Vlaanderen<\/a> &#8211; on April 1 in Waregem.<\/p>\n<p>The event has joined the top-tier of races for the first time this year, but has been a staple on the women&#8217;s racing calendar and the Spring Classics since 2017.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"6a128191-a36c-4266-bee0-f272b9df7fb8-2\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">This year, for the 14th edition, the women&#8217;s peloton will tackle a 128.9km route that starts at the HippoLoggia site in Waregem.<\/p>\n<p>Article continues below <\/p>\n<p>            You may like<\/p>\n<p>The course will feature six cobbled sectors and eight sharp climbs, with the Hellestraat as the only new climb along the route. They will also cover the Berg Ten Houte, C\u00f4te de Trieu, Hotond and Mariaborrestraat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">The peloton will climb two ascents of Nokereberg and twice the cobbles of Herlegemstraat, which is identical to that of the men.
