<\/p>\nRegion of Peel \u2013 Officers from 12 Division have arrested and charged a Brampton man in connection with a series of thefts from major retailers.<\/p>\n
On Monday, March 9, following a three-month-long investigation into retail theft and distribution, officers executed a search warrant at a Brampton residence and recovered the following property:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
300 bottles of alcohol
\n100 bricks of butter
\n91 tubs of Ghee<\/p>\n
The recovered property is worth a retail value of approximately $30,000.<\/p>\n
As a result, 48-year-old Pintu Gohil has been arrested and charged with: <\/p>\n
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x2<\/p>\n
Gohil was released from custody on an undertaking and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on April 7. <\/p>\n
