Shakur Stevenson<\/a> and Keyshawn Davis<\/a> have addressed whether or not a fight between them can happen.<\/p>\n

The two Americans have shared numerous rounds in sparring and, until recently, it has never been considered a realistic option for them to collide under the bright lights.<\/p>\n

With both of them having tested the waters at 140lbs, though, there is a feeling that Davis could represent the greatest challenge to Stevenson\u2019s supremacy \u2013 in fact, Stevenson says he believes he would.<\/p>\n

28-year-old Davis jumped up to super-lightweight last month, producing a dominant display to eventually stop Jamaine Ortiz with body shots in the 12th round.<\/p>\n

Prior to that, Davis had claimed the WBO world lightweight title by dethroning Denys Berinchyk with a fourth-round finish in February 2025, only to then scupper his first defence against Edwin De Los Santos after hitting the scales at 139.3lbs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Businessman\u2019, however, now looks a more rejuvenated operator at 140lbs, with the Ortiz win featuring on the undercard of Stevenson\u2019s masterclass against Teofimo Lopez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A wide unanimous decision victory saw the 28-year-old claim his WBO super-lightweight title, becoming a four-division world champion and a top five pound-for-pound star.<\/p>\n

But while many fans and pundits have called for a clash between Stevenson and Davis, the two skilled technicians have now issued a final verdict on the matter.<\/p>\n

Taking to social media, Davis got the ball rolling by saying, \u201cYall wanna see us go against each other so bad it\u2019s really sad\u201d, to which Stevenson gave a swift response.<\/p>\n

It would therefore appear that Stevenson and Davis are set to continue their careers in separate directions, avoiding any discussions of a possible collision course.<\/p>\n
