Sustainability tour coming to Surrey<\/p>\n

A sustainability expert will be in Surrey next month as part of an eight-city tour aimed at \u201creconnecting people to the skills and systems that actually support life.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to a news release, Kenton Zerbin\u2019s Regenerative Human Tour includes a 90-minute talk at the Surrey Nature Centre on March 25, followed by an optional workshop March 27-29.<\/p>\n
The talk \u2013 limited to 40 participants \u2013 is \u201copen to anyone curious about living more intentionally.\u201d The weekend workshop is for those interested in applying the ideas shared to their own homes and land.<\/p>\n
Zerbin\u2019s work focuses on regenerative living, a systems-based approach that blends ecology, design, and everyday life, the release states, adding that over the past decade, he has designed and built edible landscapes across Canada, taught internationally, and founded two education-based organizations focused on practical sustainability.<\/p>\n
He says his tour arrives at a moment when many Canadians are quietly questioning the systems they\u2019ve inherited, from food and housing to energy and community.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis tour is really about rewriting the story we\u2019ve been living,\u201d Zerbin said in the release. \u201cAnd realizing we\u2019re allowed to design something better.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tickets for the talk are $40; for the weekend workshop \u2013 limited to 24 participants \u2013 the cost is $697 before March 13, $999 after.<\/p>\n
