\"PFLWhile the UFC continues to be the king when it comes to MMA and gambling, there is more MMA than ever to bet on now. The advantage here is that the data is usually quite a bit less sharp than when you\u2019re making MMA predictions for the UFC. So we\u2019ve decided to dig into some each week to get you started on your regional MMA journey. This week we head overseas for PFL Africa 2 from Johannesburg, Souh Africa for our regional MMA pick.<\/p>\n

MMA Regional Pick of the Week: PFL Africa 2
\nPFL Africa 2 Welterweight Fight: Osvaldo Benedito vs Emilios Dassi<\/a><\/p>\n

Card Start Time: Saturday (8\/9), 12:00pm EST (ESPN+)<\/p>\n

In the opener on this PFL Africa main card, I like the Cameroonian, Dassi.<\/p>\n

There are some obvious drawbacks in his game. For one, when he lands, he often gets really excited. This leads to him going for the kill and a lot of times putting himself at risk for a big counter shot. Additionally, he\u2019s shown issues with his gas tank that make me wonder if he can win this fight deep. Despite all of that, I like what he is able to do on the feet. He\u2019s creative and has nice power when he finds a home for his big shots.<\/p>\n

Another reason I like him in this one is that his opponent, Benedito, appears to be very hittable. Despite facing some really bad competition in his last few fights, he\u2019s been hit a lot. He\u2019s also shown some serious issues with his scrambling \u2013 giving up bad positions and putting himself in danger.<\/p>\n

With Benedito being the type to put himself in harms way and Dassi being the type who goes for it, I like Dassi to be able to find a finish somewhere in the first couple rounds.<\/p>\n
