One man who knows how it feels to share the ring with both Manny Pacquiao<\/a> and Floyd Mayweather has revealed his thoughts on the power of the duo.<\/p>\n

Pacquiao and Mayweather are regarded as two of the greatest boxers of all time, having each had remarkable careers in their own right.<\/p>\n

Their success led to an iconic battle in May 2015, which Mayweather won by unanimous decision, and they are set to meet again over a decade on when they collide at The Sphere in Las Vegas on September 19.<\/a><\/p>\n

One legendary fighter who has faced each of them is Oscar De La Hoya, suffering a split decision loss to Mayweather in May 2007<\/a>, and a eighth round retirement defeat to \u2018PacMan\u2019 in his final bout in December 2008.<\/p>\n

In a resurfaced clip<\/a>, De La Hoya broke down the punching ability of both men, admitting there isn\u2019t much between them.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all know that Mayweather is not known for a big punch. It stings. I would have to say they\u2019re about the same. It\u2019s funny because I didn\u2019t feel Pacquiao\u2019s punch. He didn\u2019t do anything to me so I didn\u2019t really feel his punch.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey punch the same. The only difference is that Pacquiao has the ability to really knock you out, but he\u2019s got to land that perfect punch and Pacquiao\u2019s doesn\u2019t have that good timing like Mayweather.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s different speed because Mayweather is a guy who has one fast shot. Pacquiao will throw four five six seven punches that fast. I think both guys might be the same, or I would have to go with Pacquiao.\u201d<\/p>\n
