Atlanta, Ga. – Troy men’s tennis opened\u00a0conference play with a 4-0 victory against Georgia State Saturday morning at the GSU Tennis Complex.<\/p>\n
To start off the morning, Troy (11-4) secured the doubles point with junior Luciano Alcocer<\/a> and freshman Ryusei Miyazato<\/a> winning on Court 2, 6-3, as sophomore Thiago Drozdowski<\/a> and freshman Stephan Tavares Noale<\/a> won on Court 1, 6-4.<\/p>\n The Trojans then went on to singles play where Alcocer and senior Yeray Andres Pastor<\/a> claimed their courts first with straight sets wins. To end the overall match and give Troy the win, Noale earned the clincher.<\/p>\n Continuing the weekend, the Trojans will stay in Georgia to take on Augusta Sunday morning at the Newman Tennis Center.
