The Kent State Herb Page men’s golf team is set to tee off Sunday in their second tournament of the spring season at the Michael A. Marino Classic at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.<\/p>\n
Kent State has a history of playing in Myrtle Beach at the tournament formerly known as The General Hackler. In 2013, the Golden Flashes finished tied for first. Last season, they finished sixth.<\/p>\n

Notes:<\/p>\n Isaiah Ibit<\/a> led the Golden Flashes last time out with a 28th-place showing at the Hal Williams Collegiate at even par. Ibit has already posted a pair of top-10 finishes this year, highlighted by a third-place result at the Canadian Collegiate, and owns the lowest round (64) and lowest 54-hole score (204) by a Golden Flash this season.<\/p>\n Ramiro Acevedo<\/a> competed as an individual at the Hal Williams Collegiate, posting a one-under for the tournament. He placed 11th at the Tontimonia Invitational in the fall.<\/p>\n Darcy Hogg<\/a> competed at the Coach Sykes Individual and finished in the top-10 with a 3-under-par for the two rounds. The Coach Sykes Individual was his second top-10 finish of the season.<\/p>\n Nolan Haynes<\/a> finished 32nd at the Hal Williams.
