With rainfall and snowmelt in the forecast, water levels could rise again\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Up to 25 mm of rainfall is forecast from Sunday March 15 through Monday, with daytime temperatures reaching 8\u202f\u00b0C and overnight lows dropping below freezing. These conditions are expected to trigger snowmelt. No flood risk is anticipated for Lake Nipissing or Mattawa at this time.<\/p>\n<p>The public is encouraged to keep children and pets away from watercourses and shorelines. For flood emergencies, contact your local municipality. Residents of unincorporated townships should contact the Ministry of Natural Resources \u2013 North Bay District.<\/p>\n<p>NBMCA staff will continue to monitor weather and watershed conditions as part of the Authority\u2019s Flood Forecasting and Warning Program and will update this message as needed. Staff remain in contact with municipalities and other partners as required.<\/p>\n<p>Current flood status and condition updates are available at nbmca.ca.
