Anaheim\u00a0fell to the Maple Leafs 6-4\u00a0on\u00a0Thursday\u00a0night; however,\u00a0despite the loss,\u00a0the team remains in first place in the Pacific Division.<\/p>\n

Cutter Gauthier\u2019s goal in the\u00a0first period\u00a0was good for his 33rd\u00a0of the season, a new career-high.\u00a0Additionally,\u00a0seven Ducks players have already reached career-highs\u00a0at this point in the season, including Leo Carlsson\u00a0in goals (21), assists (31), points (52),\u00a0Jackson LaCombe in assists (11) and points (14),\u00a0and\u00a0Lukas Dostal in wins (26).<\/p>\n
As of Friday morning, John Carlson is expected to make his Ducks debut this weekend whether that be\u00a0against Ottawa or Montreal.<\/p>\n
The Senators\u00a0are 3-1-1 in the month of March so far with their regulation loss coming on Wednesday against the\u00a0Canadiens.\u00a0Drake Batherson\u00a0had two goals in the loss.\u00a0Overall,\u00a0Tim St\u00fctzle\u00a0lead the team in goals (30) assists (40) and points (70).\u00a0<\/p>\n
On the road this season, the Ducks are 14-16-2 while the Senators\u00a0are 14-11-5 at home.\u00a0<\/p>\n
