Guido Andreozzi<\/a> and Manuel Guinard<\/a> captured their first title as a team on Saturday at the BNP Paribas Open<\/a> where they defeated cousins Arthur Rinderknech<\/a> and Valentin Vacherot<\/a> 7-6(3), 6-3 in the doubles championship match. <\/p>\n Andreozzi and Guinard, who made their team debut at the US Open<\/a> in 2025, defeated fourth seeds Christian Harrison<\/a> and Neal Skupski<\/a> and top seeds Marcel Granollers<\/a> and Horacio Zeballos<\/a> en route to their title win in Indian Wells. <\/p>\n “I am so happy to be able to win here,” Andreozzi said. “It’s an amazing tournament, a really big one. I am so proud of the work with Manu and this journey since August of last year.”<\/p>\n In their maiden Lexus ATP Head2Head meeting with Rinderknech and Vacherot, Andreozzi and Guinard managed key moments more effectively. The pair dropped serve while serving for the first set at 5-4, but regrouped under pressure. At 5-6 40\/40, they erased a set point after Vacherot missed a backhand off a second serve. From there on, Andreozzi and Guinard maintained control to seal the win in one hour and 23 minutes, having saved four of the five break points they faced, according to Infosys ATP Stats. <\/p>\n “I knew it was going to be a dangerous match,” Guinard added. “We prepared for the match as well as we could and tried to manage the pressure because it was a first one [together]. It’s not like every week we play an ATP Masters 1000 final, so really happy with the work we have done together.”<\/p>\n Guinard now has two titles at this level, with his Indian Wells crown his first since having triumphed at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters<\/a> with Romain Arneodo<\/a> in 2025.
