The veteran had been a mainstay in the heart of the Barcelona backline alongside Pau Cubarsi but that will now change and Hansi Flick has some decisions to make.<\/p>\n
Cubarsi looks set to retain his place but will need a new partner. Captain Ronald Araujo looks the obvious choice but Andreas Christensen, Eric Garcia, Jules Kounde and even Gerard Martin are also options.<\/p>\n
Flick will be well aware that both Araujo and Christensen have missed plenty of game time recently due to physical issues, meaning he may have to tinker with his backline more than he would like next season.<\/p>\n
