Statesboro, Ga. – The Augusta men’s golf team finished up play at the Schenkel Invitational hosted by Georgia Southern with a 11th place finish. No. 26 Utah won the team portion with the host Eagles coming in second, followed by West Virginia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bo Blanchard II<\/a> led the Jaguars with a second place finish at 4-under-par overall. Blanchard shot a 71 on Sunday in a round that featured two birdies and an eagle.

\nStefan Jacobs<\/a> posted even-par 72 on Sunday and would finish in 27th place as he improved eight places on the leaderboard. Jacobs had three birdies, a bogey and a double bogey in his round.<\/p>\n

Pieter Rossouw Jr.<\/a> had the third counting score for AU with a 72 on Sunday. He did make five birdies on the day.<\/p>\n

The final counting score was turned in by Dean Wilken<\/a> with a 77.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chapman Barnett<\/a> also carded a 77 in his final round of the tournament.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Augusta will now turn their attention to the Valspar Intercollegiate in Houston, Tx., hosted by the University of Houston March 23-24.\u00a0<\/p>\n
