SAN DIEGO (AP) \u2014 Jalen Reeves-Maybin<\/a> was re-elected as president of the NFL Players Association\u2019s Board of Player Representatives on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The nine-year pro begins his second two-year term.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m honored that the Board has trusted me to continue serving as president,\u201d Reeves-Maybin said in a statement. \u201cThere\u2019s important work ahead and I\u2019m looking forward to continue advocating on behalf of our membership to protect our rights and advance our interests.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reeves-Maybin played for the Chicago Bears<\/a> last season. He spent seven seasons with the Detroit Lions<\/a> over two stints and also played one season with the Houston Texans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Board also elected four new players to serve on the Executive Committee:<\/p>\n

Tanoh Kpassagnon<\/a> will serve as treasurer. The nine-year defensive end played last season with the Bears and previously served as an alternate player representative.<\/p>\n

Minnesota Vikings<\/a> edge rusher Jonathan Greenard<\/a>, New York Jets<\/a> defensive lineman Harrison Phillips<\/a> and Green Bay Packers<\/a> linebacker Zaire Franklin<\/a> also were elected.<\/p>\n

They will join returning Executive Committee members Oren Burks<\/a>, Cam Heyward, Ted Karras<\/a>, Case Keenum<\/a>, Brandon McManus<\/a> and Thomas Morstead<\/a>, who were all re-elected Sunday.<\/p>\n
