While Ejae gave an emotional address, Mark Sonnenblick was cut off mid-speech.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The Oscar is the film\u2019s second of the evening, following their victory in the best animated film category.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">\u201cFor those of you who look like me, I\u2019m so sorry that it took so long to see us in a movie like this, but it is here. That means the next generations don\u2019t have to go longing,\u201d said Maggie Kang, the film\u2019s co-writer and co-director, receiving that award. \u201cThis is for Korea and Koreans everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The song beat songs from Sinners, Train Dreams, Viva Verdi! and Diane Warren: Relentless \u2013 the last of these meaning that Warren has extended her record-breaking Oscars losing streak after failing to convert her 17th nomination into a win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Warren, 69, was first in contention in 1987 for the song Nothing\u2019s Gonna Stop Us Now from Mannequin and received eight consecutive nominations between 2018 and 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Her other songs include <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/entity\/aerosmith\/\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aerosmith<\/a>\u2019s I Don\u2019t Want to Miss a Thing from Armageddon and <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/person\/lady-gaga\/\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lady Gaga<\/a>\u2019s Til It Happens to You from The Hunting Ground.
