Fans have slammed content creator EddieLinks<\/a> for his recent take on why Max Holloway is not an elite fighter.<\/p>\n

As per the creator, Holloway is just an \u201cexciting guy\u201d who should never have been a UFC champion and must not be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. Links opined in a recent video that Holloway should retire, and the \u201cBlessed\u201d would never have been as famous<\/a> as he is currently if he had not knocked out Justin Gaethje with just one second left on the clock at UFC 300. <\/p>\n

While criticizing Max Holloway, Links paid no heed to the fact that \u201cBlessed\u201d is considered a featherweight GOAT, with three successful title defenses to his name.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Hawaiian boasts wins over Dustin Poirier<\/a>, Justin Gaethje, and Jose Aldo, among several others. \u201cBlessed\u201d also tops the list<\/a> of UFC\u2019s Total Strikes Landed and Significant Strikes Landed. Holloway\u2019s UFC resume and accomplishments are stacked so high that it\u2019s impossible to fit them all into one piece.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

However, EddieLinks chose to ignore every Holloway FEAT and focused only on the negatives while explaining why the former UFC BMF champ shouldn\u2019t be considered an \u201celite fighter.\u201d<\/p>\n

After listening to EddieLink\u2019s bogus take, a fan quipped:<\/p>\n

Another wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe standards on becoming a respectable MMA critique are so astronomically low\u201d<\/p>\n

A netizen who believes that Eddie Links has 0 MMA knowledge, added:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis dude just rage baits for clicks I dont think this dude even watches mma all he did was rattle off losses with no context both losses to Dustin were on short notice one was super early the other was up a weight class and then Volk is the greatest FW of all time. Ilia is otw\u201d<\/p>\n

Some fans reminded Eddie Links about a few of Max Holloway\u2019s achievements:<\/p>\n

Another fan advised the content creator not to look at Wikipedia and preach a sport:<\/p>\n
