‘Super Robot Wars Y’ is released on August 28.<\/p>\n

With Super Robot Wars Y released at the end of this month, a demo has been released today along with a new trailer.<\/p>\n
The demo is like previous instalments in the series, and has save data that carries over to the main game. You only get to play Chapter 1 in the demo, but it should be enough for you to make a call on whether the game is for you or not.<\/p>\n
The new trailer, alongside the demo release, shows more of the game in action, too, from lovely new battle animations to more character-building aspects between missions (shown below).<\/p>\n
For me, I\u2019m all in for the Aura Battler Dunbine<\/a> and Heavy Metal L-Gaim<\/a> units, especially as Dunbine will also include its later OVA offspring, with their full-on and suitably gorgeous mecha designs by Yutaka Izubuchi<\/a>.<\/p>\n The trailer shows off more about the game\u2019s DLC, pre-order bonuses, and the varying versions of the game you can get.<\/p>\n Like previous recent releases in the series, there\u2019s also a premium music download pack. This affords the original music from the various host anime to play in the background as your respective mecha curb-stomp their targets.<\/p>\n It\u2019s worth noting that if you\u2019re into video capture and general streaming, you\u2019ll want to turn off the anime songs in the background in favor of the game variants.
